I’ve had a rough time with the progression of my Digital Artifact, however I have been able to witness the struggles that small business may face in the real world. Despite endless efforts to try and get my twitter account back in the past few weeks, most not even mentioned in this video due to time restraints, I am still unable to access it.
The frustration of this setback has actually made me more focused on trying to get my project to succeed but I suppose success isn’t everything. Being able to see first hand the kinds of barriers that could be faced for anyone trying to get a foot in the door on these kinds of platforms has been a real eye opener and has taught me a lot about the importance of patience.
I’m now going to be looking into Etsy’s analytic system more and researching further on how to use these tools to gain a better following without having to resort to third party media. As much as I would have liked to continue with my promotion on Twitter, I’ve become tired of the platform. I will continue to interact with others on instagram and gain inspiration but I feel it’s a bit of a waste of time to focus all my power into it like I had been with Twitter.
I hope for more success in the coming weeks leading up to the final submission but honestly I’ve learnt quite a lot from digital platforms and social medias that I never realised before and am happy to have had the opportunity for my project to crash and burn.
Pray for me and my project please!
