The beta video and blog post I reviewed for this week’s blog post came from Thy in regards to her new Instagrm Game, Debate or Relate. While the DA and beta were absolutely perfect and had hardly anything to critique, I really loved the aesthetic of this DA and it made me realise that I need to step up when it comes to the organisation and presentation of my own DA.

While I have designed the logo for my own blog for my DA, that’s about the extent of my effort to create a visual appeal to gain traction towards my DA. Even though my blog is one of a more casual nature considering its topic of Old School Runescape, the best first impression I could have with fellow community members would be to stand out from other blogs or accounts.

This could help me to gain more traction to my own blog and Twitter page to be able to gain more diverse feedback and interaction with my content, which is something I’m currently striving for.

This has inspired me to consider a new look for my blog page as well as designing, creating a posting other content to my twitter besides my blog posts to gain respect and acceptance with the audience I wish to attract. As I have yet to receive much commentary on my content, this might be a path to take alongside my current routine of daily Twitter interaction and regular blog post reblogging.
