The beta video and blog post I reviewed for this week’s blog post came from Anthony in regards to his new graphic design business and Instagram, Moodie Creative. I work as a graphic designer part-time, so this was a very interesting beta to look at and made me realise that I need to step up when it comes to thew organisation and presentation of my own DA.
While I have designed the logo for my own blog for my DA, that’s about the extent of my effort to create a visual appeal to gain traction towards my DA. Even though my blog is one of a more casual nature considering its topic of Old School Runescape, the best first impression I could have with fellow community members would be to stand out from other blogs or accounts.
This could help me to gain more traction to my own blog and Twitter page to be able to gain more diverse feedback and interaction with my content. Which, in turn, could have the potential of my content becoming monetizable, which is another aspect I had not considered until reviewing Anthony’s beta post.
This has inspired me to consider a new look for my blog page as well as designing, creating a posting other content to my twitter besides my blog posts to gain respect and acceptance with the audience I wish to attract. As I have yet to receive much commentary on my content, this might be a path to take alongside my current routine of daily Twitter interaction and regular blog post reblogging.
Thank you so much to Anthony for providing me with a better perspective in my own DA and good luck with the end of session!
