I always thought that the ‘Big Brother’ in society would be the government and higher authorities keeping track of the general public, but perhaps with the surplus of cameras and other devices at our disposal it should be the authorities that are scared. For my content this week, after viewing the drone footage in the lecture, I decided to take promotional material from the Channel 7 edition of Big Brother that should soon hit our tv screens once again despite its history (but that’s for a post some other time).  

The majority now has access to technology that allows for anyone to be the author and publisher of their own content; this allows for multiple points of view of the same event to be documented. It really makes you think about how powerful a purchase of a drone can really be.
